Cast Iron Rear Access Doors
Rear Access Doors are most often installed when a chimney needs to have repairs made to the smoke chamber area. Normally inaccessible, the smoke chamber can be accessed for repair once a hole is neatly cut into the back of the chimney. After the repairs are completed, an attractive cast iron rear access door is installed in order to allow easy access for future cleanings.
Your wood mantel needs to be far enough away from the fire in the firebox so it won’t catch fire. This is known as clearance to combustibles and is extremely important for your safety. Our skilled staff is ready to help with this fireplace repair today, so give us a call.

I had used A to Z several years ago to have sun screens installed on our home and had a great experience, so it was only natural that I’d call them back to clean our dryer vent when my dryer started taking a long time to dry our clothes.
All I can say is WOW! The hair stood up on the back of my neck when I saw how much lint they extracted from my vent! Can you say MAJOR FIRE HAZARD? Needless to say, we’ll be having A to Z back out a lot more often to make sure it never gets this dirty again!
